Sarah has finally attended an event in 2021 🥳 Last night (August 12) was the premiere of Bachelor In Paradise, where her finacé Wells is the bartender, and The Ultimate Surfer in Santa Monica, California. Sarah attending the event all sunny and shiny and happy and we’re happy to see our sweety healthy and happy.
The network [ABC] also announced today that romantic anthology series pilot “Epic” from “Once Upon a Time” creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis is no longer moving forward.
The show promised to “reinvent fairytale for a new audience.” “Epic” was written and executive produced by Brigitte Hales with Horowitz and Kitsis. Hales had worked with the duo prior to the pilot, having written eight episodes of “Once Upon a Time” and served as a story editor for over 50 episodes. The Alphabet Network gave out a pilot order to the one-hour drama in January and James Griffiths (“Stumptown,” “Black-ish”) had been tapped to direct and executive produce the pilot. Eleanor Fanyinka, Brittany O’Grady and Alexander Hodge were slated to star.

A very happy (belated) birthday to Sarah’s amazing mom Melissa Canaday, who turned 60 just 2 days ago (August 10). She celebrated her special day with her children, their partners and her husband Ed at Disneyland in Anaheim. Yesterday she shared some photos of her special day you can now find in the gallery.
Keiynan Lonsdale, Dylan Sprouse, and Sarah Hyland are set to star in the romantic comedy My Fake Boyfriend, the latest team-up for Lionsgate and BuzzFeed.
Lonsdale will play, according to the film’s description, “a young man in a tricky situation, who follows the advice of his unconventional best friend (Sprouse) and uses social media to create a fake boyfriend to keep his awful ex-lover out of his life. But everything backfires when he meets the real love of his life, and breaking up with his fake boyfriend proves hard to do.”
Veteran television director Rose Troche (The L Word, Snowpiercer, Shameless) will helm from a script by Luke Albright, Joe Wanjai Ross and Greg Boaldin.
BuzzFeed’s head of studio Richard Alan Reid is producing along with Jason Moring and Michael Philip.
In July 2020, Lionsgate and Buzzfeed announced a partnership on a slate of narrative feature films that were were described as “socially relevant and high-concept” and meant to attract millennials and Gen Z. My Fake Boyfriend is the second project announced under that deal, with the first being esports gamer comedy 1Up starring Ruby Rose and Hari Nef.
“There is no better person to tell this queer love story than Rose Troche, and we’re delighted to partner with Lionsgate to share this story with millennial and Gen Z audiences around the world,” said Reid. Lauren Bixby, vp of co-productions and acquisitions at Lionsgate added, “My Fake Boyfriend has the heart, laughs, and talent behind the scenes and in front of the camera that make this film a genuine win. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering with our friends at BuzzFeed on this fun romantic comedy.”
My Fake Boyfriend is set to begin production this month in Canada, with BuzzFeed and Lionsgate expecting to release the film timed to Pride in June 2022.
Lonsdale is repped by ICM Partners and Schreck Rose. Sprouse is repped by UTA, Authentic, and Greenberg Traurig. Hyland is repped by WME, RKM, and Gang Tyre.

How to spend a Satuday right: Sarah and her Modern Family co-stars Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler-Ferguson spent their Saturday (June 19) afternoon in the park with their partners – besides Wells sadly – and had a lovely picnic.
A couple of day ago (June 16) Sarah was seen out and about in Los Angeles, but also stopping by Gelson’s Supermarket in the city of angels. She was seen grabbing lots of sun flowers while looking sporty and sweet at the same time.
It really has been a while since we’ve seen Sarah out with her friends. Now that her girl gang is vaccinated they went out for a little GNO in Los Angeles and enjoyed themselves all the way they deserve it. Before some of you start bashing Sarah: tho she is vaccinated I bet my a** on Sarah. I bet she wore a mask while out, just when you’re taking pictures you (yes you) also take them off and when you sit by the table to have some drinks with your lads you (yes you) do too.
She has wrapped her show, she’s off to new plans now. Sarah was seen visiting a hair salon in West Hollywood on June 7 shopping off a little off of her beautiful long locks. We can’t wait for Sarah to share the first photos of her new haircut with all of us.
